Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on how unconscious processes, early life experiences, and relational patterns shape current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It is based on the idea that present-day difficulties often reflect unresolved conflicts or internalized relationship dynamics that originated in earlier attachment relationships. In therapy, clients are supported in exploring recurring patterns, emotional responses, and interpersonal dynamics to increase insight and self-understanding. The goal is not only symptom relief, but also deeper awareness of how past experiences continue to influence present functioning, allowing for greater emotional freedom and more adaptive ways of relating to self and others.
